Gratitude make sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.

Self-Love Action

This week I will think back to a journey that brought me far from where I started – a healing journey, a relationship journey, a career journey, a financial journey, or even a journey around the world – and feel so much love for myself.

We are a work in progress, yet we can have deep admiration for ourselves when we realize just how far we have come.

We gain confidence through the journey.

Self-Love Action

If a wave of strong emotion hits me this week – whether it is a negative emotion or a very positive emotion – I will take time to discern its message.

When a wave of strong emotion hits us, we know there is a healing message buried within its depths.

Self-Love Action

This week I will find beauty in a gnarled tree trunk, or an interesting face in the crowd, or the freshly cleaned floor with a mop and bucket still resting against the wall, or something else small or unnoticeable. I will let these observations inspire me to find the unexpected beauty in myself.

We will find beauty in unexpected places.

Self-Love Action

No matter how capable I am of rising to life’s daily challenges, there’s still a part of me that is vulnerable. This week I will find a way to connect with that delicate part of myself and nurture it.

Beneath our tough and formidable outer layer, we can actually be quite delicate.

What small self-care practice will you do this week to nurture your delicate, vulnerable side?

Self-Love Action

This week, whenever I notice one of my unique quirks or imperfections, I will remember that they are what make me interesting.

You are a real, authentic character, and that is what makes you, you.
