How to use your body to soothe your mind.

Calm Practice

Ground in Nature

Nature soothes and heals.

A quick change in environment can help manage overwhelming emotions. Pause what you are doing and step outside.

You could take a nature walk, light hike, visit a local park or stroll around the block. It might be as simple as standing barefoot on your back lawn for two (2) minutes, closing your eyes and breathing fresh air deep into your lungs, as you notice the air against your skin.

Wherever you are, scan for nature’s colors and patterns, and tune into the sounds around you.
