Self-Love Action

Today I will take care of myself first before trying to assist anyone else. What feels as necessary as oxygen to me today? A small treat, a small break, connecting with a loved one, or making an appointment with my doctor or counselor?

When you show up four yourself first it allows you to better show up for others.

Self-love is discerning what each situation I encounter today calls for – whether I need to put something safely and responsibly off to cut myself some slack or roll up my sleeves and get to work.

Each day calls for something different: healthy procrastination, assertive action, or perhaps a combination of both.

Let me remember today that ducks are adaptable and can exist on land or in the water. I’ll be adaptable to how my life organically unfolds today, and this week, no matter what plans I made.

Having your ducks in a row to feel organized and on top of things can actually help you to be more adaptable in the moment. What is one small step you can take today to be more organized?
