What “brushstrokes” will you add to your “canvas” of self-love this week?

When you fail you learn from the mistakes you made, and it motivates you to work even harder.

— Natalie Gulbis

View mistakes as learning experiences and opportunities to be a better version of yourself moving forward.

If we learn to open our hearts, anyone, including the people who drive us crazy, can be our teacher.

— Pema Chodron

View every experience, situation, and person you encounter (no matter how big or small, good or bad) as an opportunity to grow into the person you are destined to be.

Self-Love Action

Life is my canvas, and today I’ll create beautiful ways to show myself love, like stopping to have healthy snacks when I’m busy, or winding down with a gentle stretch class, or putting some fresh, soft sheets on my bed tonight. Each gentle act of self-love is one more brushstroke in the masterpiece of me.

What “brushstrokes” will you add to your “canvas” of self-love this week?

Self-Love Action

If I let myself down today, I will look at the situation objectively to see how I might do better in a similar situation next time. Then I will move on and wait for life to provide me with opportunities to improve.

Think of a time in the past when you let yourself down. What thoughts and actions helped leverage you forward?

Self-Love Action

This week I will watch out for an interesting experience to come my way, making my life and my character richer.

Be curious and open to new ideas, experiences, and challenges.
