How to use your body to soothe your mind.
Calm Practice
Body Contact
Come home to your body with this grounding tool.
Here’s how!
- First, drop into your breath; observing your inhale and exhale and perhaps them to settle and slow.
- Now, with your eyes closed or your focus soft and your gaze down, begin to tune into your body.
- Notice the contact points of your body with the surface(s) beneath you.
- Notice the contact points of your body with other parts of your body.
- Notice the contact points of your clothes against your body.
Afterwards, reflect on what it was like to take a moment to be grounded and present in your body.
