How to use your body to soothe your mind.

Calm Practice

Comfort Color

Pick a color to be your grounding color; representing safety, comfort, and inner peace.

When you need a calming anchor, bring your color to mind. Close your eyes and breathe slowly. Imagine this color filling you up and wrapping a sense of calm and safety around you.

When you are ready, open your eyes and begin to slowly scan the room. Notice anything you see in your grounding color, reminding you of a feeling of safety both within you and surrounding you.
