How to use your body to soothe your mind.

Calm Practice

Self-Check

Stop what you are doing and take a moment to check in with yourself.

Ask yourself:

  • How am I feeling right now?
  • What am I think about?
  • How do I feel physically in my body?
  • Is there anything from yesterday or the past week that is still impacting me today? If yes, what can I do today to let go and become more present?
  • How was my sleep last night? Have I eaten enough nutrient-rich food? Have I drunk enough water? Have I moved my body?
  • What is my intention for the day or week ahead?
  • What predictions or assumptions am I making about the day or week ahead?
  • What do I need to do today to support my wellbeing?

You can think and reflect on your answers, write your answers in a journal, or record your answers in a voice memo.
