My Self-Reflection
A quirk that I can learn to appreciate in someone is a person who often runs a few minutes late because I will likely have a few extra minutes to prepare for our meeting. When compared to a person who always runs a few minutes early, which may add more stress if I am not also ready early.
A personal struggle is currently being unemployed as I actively seeking another full-time job. Through this struggle the past 1 – 2 years, I have become more disciplined by creating a daily schedule and routine in the absence of full-time employment. Maintaining a consistent exercise routine, movement and meditation practice has greatly contributed to this increased discipline. Receiving countless rejections and setbacks this past year has strengthened my resiliency and importance of self-care. My diagnosed learning disability as a child has further increased my resiliency, persistence and perseverance.
