How to use your body to soothe your mind.

Calm Practice

Moving Breath

Let’s bring some calming and uplifting energy into our day as we sync our breath and body with this moving-breath practice.

Here’s how!

  1. Start in a kneeling position.
  2. As you inhale, raise up unto your knees and bring your arms out to a cactus position.
  3. Slowly exhale, sweeping your arms around alongside your body coming into a child’s pose position. *If your bottom does not reach your heels in child’s pose position, you can place a bolster or pillow in between your bottom and heels.
  4. Repeat for 1 – 3 minutes or until you are feeling calm and connected to your body and the present moment.
