A – Z Distraction
If we cannot fall asleep because our minds are racing or we need some distraction, we can try a brain-refocusing game.
Here’s how!
Select a topic and think of something that begins with each letter of the alphabet for that topic. You could choose topics such as, breeds of dogs and cats, types of fruits and vegetables, city names, restaurant names, flower and plant names, names of songs or movies, and names of actors, actresses, musicians, or comedians.
If you lose focus on the game, gently guide your mind back to it and continue.
