A Refreshing, Antioxidant-rich Smoothie

My sincerest apologies for the delay in posts – I am very busy as I am sure many of you are during another hectic holiday season!

I hope this post finds all of you healthy and well during this time of the year.  If you feel the need to be healthier and more energized, I’ve got just the trick!  Simply mix up the below recipe in your blender, and you will quickly feel more refreshed, energized, and you again!

1/2 cup Blueberries (frozen)

1 Banana (sliced)

Leafy Greens: Kale, Spinach, and/or Chard (exact amount, as desired)

1 – 2 tablespoons Coconut Oil (melted)

Approximately 1 – 2 cups Water (filtered)

– Optional Protein Addition

1 scoop Glutamine

1 – 2 tablespoons Almond Butter

1 small handful of nuts and/or seeds
