💪🏻Arm Squeezes💪🏻
Oftentimes when life gets overwhelming we can feel disconnected from our bodies. The gentle pressure in this relaxation technique can help us feel grounded in and connected to our bodies again.
Here’s how!
- Use your right hand to gently squeeze down the length of each finger on your left hand. Next, massage your left palm.
- Work your way up to your left arm, squeezing the wrist, lower arm, upper arm, and the shoulder and upper trapezius muscle.
- Repeat this same technique on the other (right) side.
- You can also try repeating this technique squeezing each leg.
*Tip: Focus on really feeling the sensations. Continue to breathe with deep inhales and long slow exhales.
