Berry Avocado Power Smoothie

Ingredients
- 1 Banana (fresh or frozen)
- 1/4 cup Blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1/4 cup Spinach or Kale (fresh or frozen)
- 1/2 Avocado
- 2 tablespoons Almond Butter (*may substitute with nut butter of choice)
- 1 – 2 cups of Unsweetened Almond Milk or Coconut Milk (*may substitute with water)
- 1 scoop of Protein Powder of choice (*may substitute with Greek Yogurt)
Directions
Add all of the ingredients to a high-powered blender. Enjoy!
Tips:
Blend for less time or at lower frequency to create a thicker mixture, and enjoy your power smoothie bowl. I find a eating a smoothie bowl with a spoon to be more satisfying or filling.
If you are adding protein powder, add it in after you add the liquid (almond or coconut milk) to prevent the powder from clumping.
For an added crunch, top your power smoothie with a handful of sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds.
