TED Talk Tuesday

When was the last time you were bored?

How do you feel each time you are bored?

What do you do when boredom hits?

Boredom can have a negative reputation. Why?

In Manoush Zomorodi’s TED Talk, How Boredom Can Lead to Your Most Brilliant Ideas, she discusses why boredom is a good thing. Do you sometimes have your most creative ideas while folding laundry, washing dishes or doing nothing in particular? Creative ideas can flourish during these times because when your body is on autopilot, your brain is busy forming new neural connections that connect ideas and solve problems. As Zomordi explains the connection between spacing out and creativity, you will learn to love being bored!
