Mental Rehearsal

Planning ahead can help us overcome social anxiety.

Picture yourself at the event that makes you nervous.

List your fears and worries.

Write down a calming phrase to say to yourself.

Examples include,

I will  get through this.

Eb and flow, come and go.

I am safe. I am calm. I am loved.

Peace be with me.
