Grilled Peaches with Balsamic and Ricotta
It’s peach season!
Fire up the grill for a special dessert or sweet appetizer!
*Special credits to Wellness Expert and Peloton Instructor, Emma Lovewell for sharing this recipe.
Ingredients
-
4 medium Peaches (halved and pitted)
-
2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
-
4 tablespoons Butter (softened)
-
4 ounces Ricotta Cheese
-
Freshly-cracked Black Pepper, to taste (and to add a kick!)
-
Balsamic vinegar, to taste

Directions
Preheat the grill (Emma used a cast iron grill skillet.) It should be piping hot (not just slightly warm)!
Spread the softened butter over the cut side of the peaches, which will become a “glue” for the brown sugar.
On a plate, stir the brown sugar and black pepper together. Dip the buttered peaches into the mix.
Grill the peaches for 4 – 5 minutes each side. Make sure not to char the fruit too much while ensuring there are nice, smoky grill marks.
Flip the peaches and grill for an additional 1 – 2 minutes.
Serve, cut-side up.
*Emma paired the peaches with soft ricotta cheese, a drizzle of balsamic vinegar, and brown sugar for crunch. Feel free to spice it up with your own decadent additions! A tad of goat cheese? Baby spinach?Caramelized walnuts? Fresh whipped cream? Creamy vanilla ice cream?
