How mentally strong are you?
So often in the gym setting we focus on our physical strength. While our physical strength is important to perform our activities of daily with ease as well as prevent age-related muscle loss, if we do not have a strong mind our brains cannot connect with our muscles.
Have you noticed after a long, stressful, and mentally-draining day it is more difficult to maintain the “mind-muscle connection” during your workout?
Our brains are a “light switch” to turn on our muscles.
What will you do this week to strengthen your mind?
