Avoid overestimating your commitments each week and underestimating time to yourself.

In Laura Vanderkam’s TEDTalk, How to Gain Control of Your Free Time, she addresses the challenging question: “How do we find time for what matters most?” After closely examining the lives of busy people, she found that many people underestimate time to themselves (or as I call, “me-time”). She provides realistic strategies to help us allocate more time for us to engage in meaningful activities, and as a result “build the lives we want in the time we’ve got.”
