Crispy Tofu

Quick to prep!

Add this plant-based protein side to a plate with your favorite vegetables and brown rice, quinoa, or whole wheat pasta.

Vegetarian or not, it’s a healthful, must try protein source!

Ingredients 

  • (1) 16-ounce  Super-Firm Tofu
  • 1/4 cup Corn Starch
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Directions

Cut the tofu into eight (8) thick slabs and blot dry. Press the large sides into a plate of corn starch. In a non-stick pan over medium heat, sauté the tofu slabs in the olive oil until browned in both sides (about 8 – 10 minutes).
