Workout Wednesday

Have you ever experienced Flow?

A state in which people are so involved in an activity that nothing else seems to matter; the experience is so enjoyable that people will continue to do it at great cost, for the sheer sake of doing it.

-Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi (1990)

What is Flow?

Complete concentration on the task

Clarity if goals and reward in mind and immediate feedback

Transformation of time (speeding up/slowing down)

The experience in intrinsically rewarding

Effortless and ease

There is a balance between challenge and skill

Actions and awareness are merged, losing self-conscious rumination

There is a feeling of control over the task

How will you experience Flow during your workout today?

What physical activity will make you focusedalertconfident, and happy?

Today, dedicate 30 minutes for you. Experience Flow.
