As we head off to the lake, BBQ, or fireworks show, take a moment to reflect on the importance of this day: Our Freedom and Independence.

Show your appreciation for the brave men and women in our country who fight for this same freedom and independence each day.

True freedom and independence is not being given the choice of which lake to unleash your boat, what type of meat to toss on the grill, or which fireworks show to view –

It is more deep. The gift to choose how we live our lives each day –

the clothes we choose to wear,

the person (opposite or same sex) we choose to marry,

the place we choose to live and raise a family,

to name a few.
