Relaxation Exercise

Are you stressed, anxious, or fatigued?

Is your boss or coach telling you to “go-all-out” or “give it all you’ve got?”

Is this YOU?

or, is this YOU?

Yes?  Practice this visualization exercise today!

Close your eyes, and imagine a strong, radiant yellow beam of sunlight entering the top of your head. “See” and “feel” it permeate your skull, neck, and shoulders, moving into your chest cavity and out to your arms and to your fingertips, and continue to flow throughout your entire body, down to the very last cell.

Notice how it nourishes and nurtures each molecule, bringing with it enormous health, beauty, vibrancy, and energy.  “See” yourself being transformed into a relaxed being, full of joy and happiness.

Affirm to yourself, “I am relaxed and calm and getting better every day in every way.”  Count from one to five, slowly.  As you reach five, open your eyes and remain relaxed.

De-stressed and Relaxed YOU!

or, Hydrated and Recovered YOU!

Whether you are a busy office worker or a competitive athlete, always allow time each day for yourself:

Time for rest and relaxation,

Time to just be YOU!
