Happy Valentine’s Day!

Are you tired of chocolate?

Do want to spice up your Valentine creativity?

Are you in search of a healthy Valentine treat?

Prepare a batch of Thin Crisp Hearts!

Ingredients

  • Whole Wheat Tortillas
  • Coconut Oil Spray
  • Cinnamon
  • Coconut Sugar (optional)
  • Red Sprinkles
  • Heart-shaped Cookie Cutter (small, medium, or large)
  • Parchment Paper (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven for 400-450 degrees (depending on oven). Place one whole wheat tortilla on a cutting board.  Press heart-shaped cookie cutter on tortilla.  Try to fit as many hearts on each tortilla!  Spray a cookie sheet with coconut oil spray or use parchment paper.  Place each heart shaped tortilla on cookie sheet, and spray the top of tortillas with coconut oil spray.  Shake a dash of cinnamon and red sprinkles on each tortilla.  Put in oven, and bake.  Watch closely! Thin Crisp Hearts bake very quickly! (I burned my first batch – oops!).  Bake approximately 5 – 7 minutes. Let cool before eating. Enjoy!

Eat a thin crisp with a hot cup of coffee or tea or cold glass of milk! Yum!
