Always Remembered. Never Forgotten.

Today, April 4, 2026, marks two years since my sweet, soulmate cat, Cali 🐱 lost her battle with chronic kidney disease and crossed the rainbow 🌈 bridge. There is not a day that passes that I do not think about and miss my loving calico cat. Stepping outside of my comfort zone to administer her subcutaneous (IV) fluids for almost one year was a true bonding experience. These daily moments led me to return to Seattle Humane as a Cat Care Enrichment (CCE) volunteer and start a side cat sitting business with Meowtel. Coincidentally, today (on the two-year anniversary) I am caring for two new Meowtel clients’ cats (two kittens and two adult black cats). Cali, you and your sweet sister (Minimi) are now in cat heaven young and healthy watching over me (and Tali and Chatty 🐱🐱) as I continue to provide exceptional, compassionate cat care to my Meowtel clients’ cats today and beyond. 💕
