Laughter is Medicine


Times are tough right now. If you are struggling or feeling stuck, you are not alone. I am at a crossroads in my life now, sometimes feeling directionless or lacking purpose. We are okay. We need to prioritize our mental health and routinely practice self-care: Exercise and add more movement to our days, eat nutrient-rich food, meditate, get adequate sleep, and create an upward spiral. One way of creating an upward spiral is to make a positivity portfolio.

Take a day at a time. Be present. Find the small joys and blessings all around. These times will pass and we will become stronger, more resilient individuals.

Create a mantra for yourself such as,

I am… I can… I will… I do…

I am stuck. I can practice acceptance and be patient. I will be present. I do accept vulnerability and uncertainty.
