Cali, today marks six months since your kidney disease pushed you over the rainbow bridge. Since that tearful day, there has not been one day that I do not miss you. I think about you and our many happy times together every day.

While a two month old kitten joined your sister, Minimi and I on June 26, she did not replace you. And in many ways, she reminds me of you, Cali! She loves water from the faucet, lays on my chest each morning, sleeps on your pillow each night, and joins me on the mat for Peloton Pilates, Yoga, and Mobility classes, to name a few!

I just knew Tali was the kitten at Seattle Humane to bring home when I noticed an orange marking on her foot – unique coloring for a brown tabby! Cali, this orange spot is you shining through in Tali.
