When was the last time you took 10 minutes to do nothing?

We can easily be “buried” in our work and the ins-and-outs of our daily lives that we become distracted from the present moment. 

What would happen if you took 10 minutes to focus on the present moment: no television, no phone, no computer or tablet, no eating, and no reminiscing about the past or planning for the future?

No, you do not need to sit crossed-legged or another uncomfortable position on the floor and light incense;

You simply need to relax and do nothing.

Give your mind and body a short rest from the stresses and worries of your life. Observe how much more refreshed you feel and ready to tackle the day’s challenges.

In Andy Puddicombe’s TED Talk, All It Takes Is 10 Mindful Minutes, he describes the “transformative power” of doing nothing. Refresh your mind for 10 minutes a day by being mindful and experiencing the present moment.
